All About The War:
Donation of Cryptocurrencies as well as NFT assets continue to pour into Ukraine
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Polkadot, Dogecoin and Solana addresses listed in the tweets have received over 96,000 cryptocurrency donations, with a total value of $46.7 million going directly to the Ukraine government, while donations of NFTs like CryptoPunk worth over $200,000 was sent to the Ukrainian government’s Ethereum account. The most expensive NFT, an Ukrainian flag from UkraineDAO, had been auctioned off for 6.5mil in ether.

Cryptocurrency ETFs gain market confidence amid Russia-Ukraine War
The world’s largest cryptocurrency, bitcoin, has decoupled from traditional markets and risk-on assets amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict. ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF BITO and VanEck Bitcoin Strategy ETF XBTF are both up 16.7% over the past week.

El Salvador set an example of how a country can do things differently with Bitcoin. Following its steps, Switzerland’s Lugano is also doing the same. The city of Lugano has developed plans on how it will integrate cryptocurrency into the city’s daily operations.

Venezuelan Government increased minimum wage 18-fold and approved Petro peg
President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro increased the minimum wage in the country and allowed the official currency of Venezuela, bolivars, to be pegged to Petro. Technically, Petro would be classified as a stablecoin since it is centrally issued. Still, due to its pricing and volatility, the world has categorized it as a cryptocurrency.
Concave Poker Tournament
Our community loves to play poker and recently, we decided to host a very special poker tournament for our beautiful miners who are doing great work everyday. Courtesy of Wildernicks, we were able to provide some amazing prizes to our poker contestants. Winners would be eligible to receive a custom Concave gaming mouse, 1 Rome, and a D,ape NFT. The event was hosted right next to Karaoke as well, so people who finished playing in their tables could hang out and sing with the community as well. The turnout for the event was insane; over 50 people gathered in Concave Town to compete with each other, and it was truly a memorable moment for everyone who came by. The winners of the tournament are Farmergman, Chefyaboyardi, Heyjan, and Hedvoycez. Congratulations to our winners and stay tuned for more exciting events like this in the near future!
Olympus Odyssey Mushrohm hunt
With the recent announcement of Olympus Odyssey and Concave being primary partners, we wanted to commemorate this partnership with Odyssey through our Concave Town. This will be our Mushrohm hunt that will be open to everybody on March 9th. We will have more information about this coming soon; miners will be able to seek out mushrohms in our NonFungiTorium and receive some cool rewards in the process. Can you find them all?
Team Member Interview with Franklin
A strong community needs a strong team, and the team has been busy at work getting Concave to be a powerhouse in the DeFi space. We wanted to drop by and have a short interview with Franklin, one of the team members of Concave.
What is your background?
My background is in finance, law, and venture capital.  I have a long history in crypto, rediscovering the space last August during the NFT craze. Currently, I serve on the core teams of Concave, Singularity, Aleph Finance, and Abachi.  At Concave, I primarily work within the Policy Department as Concave’s Portfolio Manager, overseeing Concave’s treasury and investment strategies.
How did you learn about Concave?
After NFTs entered a mini-bear market last October, I started exploring the broader market.  My first investment was in Klima, second, Olympus, and third, Concave.  I entered the server much later than others and didn’t have any friends. I met a few cool people, like the Head of Data Analytics, Mert.  But unfortunately, I still don’t have any friends.
What are your personal hobbies?
I enjoy being a generally awesome guy.  It’s quite fun.  And I will be making a podcast w/ my bro, Sungod, please check it out.  I also enjoy simping.  Every dime I’ll ever make in my life will eventually be spent on women.
How do you envision Concave in the future?
Concave (and Singularity) are hyper-structures, defined by two key characteristics: 1. responsiveness to market conditions and trends, pivoting when necessary, and 2. the belief that failure does not exist—failures are features.  The natural path this leads down, of course, is to the establishment of a decentralized city-state, where pTokens are recognized as legal tender.
What is a goal that you would like to achieve?
I’d like to beat Epik in our trading contest so I can make my Hao Gege, Mia, proud of me, and save the IR department from rotation.

We have some amazing meme creators in our community, and they have been putting in their passion and creativity to create memes that miners can enjoy. One meme that made us chuckle was this meme made by Kaiso in the memes channel.
