First Mover Asia: Crypto Concerns Weigh on Taiwan PC Component Makers' Stocks; Bitcoin Springs to 3-Month High
With Ethereum’s transition to proof-of-stake and away from proof-of-work, miners no longer need all the graphics cards they hoarded over the last few years. Shares of Asus, Gigabyte and MSI, Taiwan-based component makers that produce graphics cards are down year to date as the market prices in slackening demand for their graphics cards.

Concave has Officially Launched!
After months of hard work from the team, Concave has officially launched. This has been a monumental first step for us, and with all the excitement for release we had over 100 miners waiting along with the team for our Concave AMM to launch. For now, we have our AMM live for miners to trade their CNV on, and the next part of the launch will be our liquid staking and bonding. We are excited to have started this journey with you and hope you are as excited as we are for what's to come.
Concave Launch Party
To commemorate the protocol launch for Concave, the team decided to host a Concave Launch Party in Concave Town, where community members hosted various events, such as a core AMA at the Concave Town Beach, an Arcade tournament where the highest scoring miner would win an exclusive Concave rug, a Concave Records concert at the Seismology lab with special guests Starfoxlaflare and Willioboy, and more. The event blew records as over a hundred people attended the event. The party was a great success as miners bonded together as we celebrated the moment that we have all been waiting for.
Redacted Partnership AMA -April 7th 11AM EDT
To continue along with our partnership AMAs, we are excited to announce that we are officially partnered with Redacted, and we will be having an AMA on Twitter Spaces where we go over what kind of long term synergies exist between the two protocols and how this partnership will benefit both communities. Team Member Interview with wAlligator
A strong community needs a strong team, and the team has been busy at work getting Concave to be a powerhouse in the DeFi space. We wanted to drop by and have a short interview with wAlligator, one of the team members of Concave.
What is your background?
My journey in the ever-evolving world of Cryptocurrency began in early 2018, when I was having lunch at a restaurant in New York City with my cousins. Somehow, the conversation ended up at Bitcoin, and how stupid and senseless it was, because how can something intangible, that you can't physically hold in your hands, be worth anything right? HA, think again! If you're reading this, it's likely you need no further explanation! Besides that, I come from a background in Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics in general, and some small-scale consulting (consumer wealth management, to be exact).
How did you learn about Concave?
I learnt about Concave in an alpha group I share with some friends of mine. Every week, we have a sort of "alpha dump" where we discuss all our findings and research that we conduct during the prior days. One fine day in November of last year, Concave came up and despite the fact that there wasn't much information out there regarding what the project even was, the enormous bottleneck formed by people on Twitter trying to get into the server using the expiring-in-1-minute links, was enough conviction for myself to jump in (after numerous unsuccessful tries) and see what Concave was all about. That, and the fact that I had begun to see the name pop up here and there in an OHM related context. Suffice to say, I'm glad I made it here as early as I did; it's been a tremendous journey to-date, and as some of you may have seen me often say in the community server: "Onwards and Upwards"
What are your personal hobbies?
People tend to favor hobbies that fall into one of two categories, outdoors and indoors. I personally find myself delving into activities on both sides of the aisle. From sports and outdoor recreational stuff like cycling, football, and watersports, to indoorsy stuff like reading, eating, and playing video games (Call of Duty Warzone and occasionally GTA V) - I enjoy it all. Lately, I find myself neglecting those other hobbies, as Crypto and the adrenaline rush that often comes with it, take up more of my time. However, I continue to strive to strike a balance between all my interests and responsibilities.
How do you envision Concave in the future?
To be completely honest, there is no singular vision I have in mind when it comes to Concave. We see phrases like “the future of DeFi”, “game-changer for crypto enthusiasts”, and “financial independence” used quite frequently. I believe all of those are true and valid to an extent, and most certainly hope to see that vision of Concave come to fruition. However, it doesn’t just end there. Being the agile and continuously developing organization that Concave is, I would not be surprised to see us achieve much more than what we think we can and go down more unexplored avenues, whether that’s within Concave or sister projects, there’s a whole ecosystem out there that remains untapped. The sky’s the limit, and we’ve just launched off the ground!
What is a goal that you would like to achieve?
I’ve been told I’m running out of space here, so I’ll try to keep this last one brief. One of the greatest goals I have in life generally, and one that’s been further amplified just by spending time in Concave over the last few months, is expanding my network and building those essential connections between people. Diverse individuals are all around us (especially in Concave!), and what better opportunity is there to learn and grow as a person, than by surrounding yourself with the company of such, am I right? Before I conclude, I'd like to share a wise quote that's a personal favorite, and has been attributed to some great leaders of our time: "If you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room", and one thing I can tell you folks is that I'm certainly not the smartest in this room, so I'm definitely in the right room!

In the depths of the Seismology Stadium, there is a mysterious area on the side where you enter this mysterious location. Nobody knows who created this area but you can feel an eerie nature to it. Go explore and step on the blue lights and see what happens. We are always improving our spaces so we hope you tune in regularly to see all the updates.

We have some amazing meme creators in our community, and they have been putting in their passion and creativity to create memes that miners can enjoy. One meme that made us chuckle was this meme made by Sjzyf in the memes channel.
